The first ever International Cultural Jamboree in Karnataka is going to be held 21st to 27th Dec, 2022 at Moodabidre. This event is organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides- Karnataka, a state association in Karnataka under the leadership of Honorable State Chief Commissioner Shri PGR Sindhya with the aim to promote cultural diversity and serve as a platform for cultural exchange.
Moodubidire: is a town and Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District. It is popularly known as ‘Jainakashi’. It is a home for 18 Jain Basadis which include Th ousand Plillar Temple and Mallinatha Basadi. People of all religions live in harmony in Moodubidire. ‘Bhoota Kola’ or spirit worship is the speciality of this place. Kambala or buffalo race which is conducted in water filled paddy fields is one of the main attractions of Dakshina Kannada. Moodubidire is also known for its educational institutions.
This is a great event for anyone who would like to learn
about world culture. It's also a great opportunity for people to share their
own cultures with others, and learn about new ones as well. This can be a very
rewarding experience, if you are open-minded enough!
